Summary

This is a multi-skilled position in which the employee will be performing physical labour.
Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday 6AM-6PM, with overtime on occasion as needed.

Note: This position is based out of the quarry in Stonewall, Manitoba.  The successful candidate must be willing to travel daily to and from site.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Shovel and rake aggregate materials
• Help fellow workers with their duties on Crushing Plant or around the quarry
• Operate small equipment and tools. (Training will be provided as necessary)
• Operate loader and rock truck, as needed
• Ensure work site is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
• Perform miscellaneous activities throughout the day, as directed

 Job Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• Class 5 drivers license, and means of transportation to and from jobsite
• Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour
• Willing and able to work long hours in inclement weather
• Must be a team player, reliable and organized
• Experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset
• Familiar with construction methods, tools, and materials an asset
• Timeliness is essential for success in this position
