Nelson River Construction (NRC) is currently hiring a motivated Cooks Helper/ Housekeeper for the 2025 Construction Season.
Start Date: End of May 2025, weather dependent.

Summary:

The Cooks helper is responsible for the assisting the head cook with food preparation and general housekeeping of the camp.

Responsibilities:

• Prep food and stations prior to cooking
• Assist head cook in preparing different meals
• Clean and maintain a sanitary work-station and kitchen
• Assist in housekeeping department

Qualifications:

• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work out of town and in remote locations in a camp environment.
• Hold a valid class 5 driver’s license and have own means of transportation to the jobsite
• Previous experience with housekeeping an asset
• Safe Food Handling Certificate an asset
